Yes, and surprises are our favorite kind of order. You organize everything quietly: share the collection link with family and friends, we gather and edit the clips, and the guest of honor knows nothing until you press play at the celebration. The recipient never lifts a finger. They simply receive the film.

You do, and it takes about five minutes. Your filming guide includes ready-to-send invitation text, so you simply forward it with your collection link to the family group chat, or by text or email. From that moment we take over: collecting clips, checking quality, and following up with anyone who hasn't sent theirs.

Starter Keepsake includes up to 12 video clips or photos, Signature Tribute up to 20, and Legacy Tribute up to 35. Need more? Extra clips are $5 each on any package.

After you order, you receive a simple upload link and a one-page filming guide to share in your family group chat, by text, or by email. Loved ones record a short message on their phone and upload it in one tap. We collect every clip, check the quality, and send gentle reminders so nothing falls through the cracks.

Your order includes a clear submission deadline, and our 5-day delivery clock starts when that deadline passes. Clips that arrive after the deadline can usually still be added for a $25 late-add fee, as long as the film hasn't been delivered yet. We'll always do our best for you.

Your finished film is delivered within 5 days of your submission deadline. If the party is sooner than that, select the 48-hour rush option in the reservation form and we'll move mountains.

Absolutely, and we love it when they are. Messages in any language are warmly included as recorded. If you'd like English captions added to non-English clips, we'll quote that as a small add-on based on the number of clips.

Thirty seconds is the sweet spot — enough to say something meaningful, short enough to keep the film moving. We gently guide contributors if they've gone well over, and we may trim clips that run much longer. Text tributes should stay under 500 characters. Most people naturally keep it heartfelt and brief when they speak from love.

Not at all — this is exactly what editing does. Each contributor sends up to 30 seconds, but in the final film we use only the best 5–15 seconds from each clip: the warmest moment, the laugh, the line that lands. Twenty clips don't become 20 clips played in full; they become a tightly woven film where every second counts. Please do not ask contributors to send more than 30 seconds — longer clips don't give us more to work with, and they make uploads harder for your guests.

We handle it in editing. We use blurred fill backgrounds, thoughtful cropping, and creative framing so every clip looks intentional in the final film, regardless of orientation. We always ask contributors to film sideways in the guide — but a portrait clip has never ruined a Gathered Love film.

Milestone birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, graduations, retirements, baby celebrations, naming ceremonies, and memorials. If the people you love are gathering for it, we can make a film for it.

One round of revisions is included with every package, so you can request adjustments after your first viewing. Additional revision rounds are $35 each.

You receive a high-quality video file via a private download link, sized perfectly for playing at the party, sharing on WhatsApp, and keeping safely forever. The film is yours.
